If you've visited my website recently, you may have noticed things changing a little.
And by "a little," I mean I may have spent an embarrassing amount of time moving pages around, reorganizing content, changing menus, and staring at my screen wondering why everything suddenly felt... crowded.
The more I worked on Riley L. Kaine's author website, the more I realized something important.
The Empire Chronicles has become much bigger than a single book.
What started as a story about vampires has grown into a world filled with powerful empires, dangerous alliances, hidden archives, secret files, and characters who refuse to stay quiet in my imagination.
As I continued building bonus content, character profiles, empire crests, archives, and reader extras, I noticed something unexpected happening.
Riley was disappearing.
My author website was slowly turning into a giant Empire Chronicles database.
Now, don't get me wrong—I love all of that content. Creating it is one of my favorite parts of the process. But I realized readers visiting my author site should be able to learn about me, discover my books, and stay connected without having to navigate through an entire vampire empire.
So I made a decision.
The Empire Chronicles is getting its own home.
The new site will be dedicated entirely to the world of the series. Think empire archives, character files, exclusive content, hidden secrets, bonus material, and plenty of things I probably haven't even dreamed up yet.
Meanwhile, my author website will focus on what it was always meant to be: Riley L. Kaine, my books, and my journey as an author.
Honestly, I'm excited.
Separating the two feels like giving each space room to breathe. Readers who want a clean author experience will have one. Readers who want to dive headfirst into vampire politics, empire rivalries, and secret archives will have a place for that too.
And let's be honest—if there are secret files and restricted archives involved, you know I couldn't resist.
The Empire Chronicles has always been more than a series to me. It's a world.
Now it's getting a world of its own.
Stay tuned. The doors to the archives will be opening soon.
